New York City
OK I’ve been here a month now, living in an apartment in Queens. I work as a consultant for the State on Sandy recovery.
What I have learned so far while in New York:
In case of emergency you can’t get anywhere in a hurry
In case of a natural disaster, you cant get anywhere in a hurry
If you need to get off the island you better not be in a hurry
Never ever go to the grocery store on Thursdays
Merge is not a word in New York
I have a new appreciation for the term “Honky”
New York is actually a foreign Country
I hate elevators
A box of Cheerios and $7.00 should never go together
Cars wear bumper pads
painted lines on the road are a luxury
and last but not least dogs were not meant to live in the city… ok one more, there are no stars in the sky come to think of it there may not be a sky…
Sleepy
The world as I see it
